It’s official: I’m having arthroscopic surgery to repair the tears in my ACL and meniscus. No exact date has been set yet, but it’ll probably be by the end of the month or on the first week of November, give or take. My doctor, Dr. Teresita Altre, is still trying to find the best orthopedic surgeon to do my surgery since she isn’t trained to do arthroscopies (see, my doctor is kinda old-school, but she’s one of the best). For the meantime, I’m undergoing physical therapy to strengthen my leg muscles for the surgery itself.
What a post-birthday and pre-Christmas gift for me.
